UKGA and PGA of India Formalize Long-Term Partnership with MoU Signing

In exciting news, our partnership with the PGA of India is now official. In the works since August 2025, this collaboration was formalized after an official meeting and the signing of a long-term MoU.

Established in 1988, the PGA of India was instrumental in shaping the early days of professional golf in the country and laying the foundation for a national golfing body. Recognized by the Sports, Physical Education, Fitness, and Leisure Skills Council (SPEFL-SC) - formed under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), the PGA of India serves as the official provider for skill certification in the golf industry, setting professional standards in coaching, management, and operations.

A Strategic Partnership for Professional Development

Under the UKGA–PGA of India partnership, our first initiative will be to conduct workshops to upskill coaches, caddies, and course staff across the state - enabling certified PGA of India professionals to qualify for roles such as Golf Manager, Course Supervisor, Greenskeeper, Cart Manager, and more.
