The Uttarakhand Golf Association (UKGA) has officially introduced the World Handicap System (WHS) in association with Online Golf App (Nvous Solutions) across the state - a milestone that brings Uttarakhand golfers in sync with global standards for the very first time.

Until now, there was no established or unified handicap system across golf courses in Uttarakhand. With WHS, every golfer will now have a fair, consistent, and internationally recognized handicap - one that travels with them across courses worldwide.

This move is more than a system upgrade - it's a cultural shift. It levels the playing field, encourages regular play, and ensures that tournaments are based on ability, not assumption.

WHS, developed by The R&A and USGA, merges six global handicap systems into one. It dynamically updates a player's handicap based on their most recent rounds, ensuring a fair reflection of their current game.

UKGA has reached an extraordinary milestone - boasting 200 active members, making it the largest golf association in India. In a remarkable show of commitment to professional standards, 180 members have already registered for the World Handicap System.
